Friday night's Komets game against Kalamazoo will be the first Kids Seat Free night of the season. Those under 12 will get a free ticket with the purchase of a full-priced adult ticket. The annual Halloween parade will take place during the first intermission.
 It was quite a good time at the Gates Center tonight for Mastodon Madness, where the fans got to take a look at the men's and women's basketball teams, got autographs and bobbleheads, and witnessed dunk and 3-point contests.
