Green's TV show canceled

Green

CeeLo Green’s reality show won’t have a second season.

TBS spokeswoman Karen Cassell said Wednesday the network isn’t renewing “The Good Life.” She did not give a reason but said the decision was made earlier this summer.

Confirmation of the cancellation comes just days after Green’s tweets about rape that caused a public outrage.

Green pleaded no contest last week to one felony count of furnishing ecstasy to a woman during a 2012 dinner in Los Angeles. Following that, the former “Voice” coach posted a series of tweets, including one that read: “Women who have really been raped REMEMBER!!!” He tweeted an apology Monday.

Lambert leads nods

Miranda Lambert released the most ambitious album of her career this year and Country Music Association voters responded by giving her a record-tying load of nominations.

Lambert has nine nominations for the 48th annual CMA Awards, tying her own mark for the most nods to a female nominee, and nearly doubling her nearest competitor when the list was announced Wednesday in New York. Dierks Bentley is next with five nominations and Eric Church and Keith Urban have four apiece.

The 30-year-old Lambert is up for top honor entertainer of the year along with husband Blake Shelton and has nominations for major categories album of the year for “Platinum,” song and single of the year for “Automatic,” and is vying for her fifth straight female vocalist of the year trophy.

Urban, George Strait and Luke Bryan round out the entertainer of the year category.

Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley host the Nov. 5 show live from Nashville, Tennessee.

Baby No. 2 due

Alicia Keys, who often releases albums in November and December, says she is preparing for another delivery at the end of the year: her second baby.

“December album? Well, I know one thing. I’m having a December baby,” the singer said with a laugh in an interview Tuesday.

The Grammy winner says she and husband, producer-rapper Swizz Beatz, know the sex of the baby, but that she’s “not sharing.”

Their son, Egypt, turns 4 next month.
