Consecutive 90-less Augusts a first, weather service says

Fort Wayne went without a 90-degree day in August for the second consecutive year, the first time that has happened since recordkeeping began in 1912, the National Weather Service said today.

The only two 90-degree days this year were in June, the weather service said.
