Meth suspected in house explosion

RICHMOND, Ind. – Police investigators believe a house explosion in Richmond might be related to methamphetamine production.

State Trooper Bryan Rumple said the Sunday night explosion knocked the house in Richmond off its foundation, but no one was there when firefighters arrived.

The Palladium-Item reported (http://pinews.co/1qw1fDT ) an explosion and fire was reported about 10:30 p.m. Sunday on the city’s northwest side, and the fire was mostly out within an hour.
