Carroll golfers beat East Noble

Carroll won a key NHC girls golf match over East Noble 177-180 at Willow Ridge on Monday.

Sarah Banister led the Chargers with a 40, while Kierstin Murphy added a 41 and Ali Boyle 46.

For East Noble, Alyn Clark was medalist with a 39, while Cooper Handshoe had a 43.

BISHOP DWENGER 177, BISHOP LUERS 213: The Saints’ Katie Giant won medalist honors with a 36 at Brookwood.

Also for the Saints, Amanda Miller had a 41 and Sarah Frazier a 42. Sarah Braun led the Knights with a 45.

Boys soccer

HOMESTEAD 10, NEW HAVEN 0: David Rincon had five goals for the visiting Spartans.

Sam Barron had two goals for Homestead.

WAWASEE 11, HAMILTON 0: The visiting Warriors got three goals and two assists from Ricky Camargo.

HERITAGE 9, LAKEWOOD PARK 0: Karson Gardner scored five goals for the host Patriots.

Adam Albertin and Kyle Manns beat Braxton Fritcha and Carter Waldron 6-3, 6-2 at No. 1 doubles.

CARROLL 3, BISHOP LUERS 0: The Chargers improved to 6-0 with the road win.

Jackie Quade had 12 kills.

BISHOP DWENGER 3, LEO 0: The Saints opened up their newly renovated gym in style by beating the visiting Lions, 25-17, 31-29, 25-22.

Megan Coffin led Dwenger with eight kills and 19 digs.

Leo got 10 kills from Emily Wenglikowski.
