Fort Wayne police are seeking to find this man, who they say robbed three Walgreen drugstores since July 11. Police said the man is white but wore dark costume makeup during the robberies.

Police seek help in finding pharmacy robber

Fort Wayne police are seeking the public's help in finding a man who they said robbed three Walgreens pharmacies of prescription drugs since July 11.

The man is believed to be 6 feet tall, with medium to slender build, who rode a mountain bike to and from each store, police said in a statement. It said he is white but was wearing dark costume makeup on his face.

The suspect produces a note asking for certain prescription drugs, the statement said.

Police said he was involved in these incidents --

  • 11:40 p.m. July 11, at the Walgreens at 2410 Coliseum Blvd. N.;
  • 9:50 p.m. Aug. 11, at the Walgreens at 330 W. State Blvd.; and
  • 1:40 a.m. Aug. 22, at the Walgreens at 10412 Coldwater Road.
Police said the suspect appeared at the Coliseum Boulevard North store about 12:20 a.m. on Aug. 22, but left after store employees recognized him from the first robbery. He then went to the Coldwater Road store and committed the robbery there, police said.

Anyone with information about the suspect or who may have been a witness to any of the robberies is asked to call Crime Stoppers.
