Fatal farming incident in Dekalb County

A man at a Dekalb County farm died this morning after being pinned between a tractor and metal beam, according to a statement from the Dekalb County Sheriff’s Department.

Police were called to the 1800 block of County Road 59 around 3:40 a.m. this morning when they got reports of a farming accident. When they arrived on the scene, they found the man pinned, the statement said.

There were no witnesses to the incident, and circumstances surrounding the man’s death are still unclear.

Police said they will have more information after the family is notified. The incident is under investigation.
