1 killed in I-469 crash

A Fort Wayne man has been identified as the victim of a single-vehicle crash in New Haven early Sunday, the Allen County coroner's office said today.

Arthur J. Hoffman, 52, died from blunt force trauma in the accident, the coroner's office said in a statement.

Hoffman was the driver of a vehicle involved in a crash at Interstate 469 and Indiana 930 shortly after 5 a.m., the statement said. It said his death is the 16th in Allen County in 2014.

The crash remains under investigation by New Haven police and the coroner's office.
