New Haven to spray for mosquitoes

New Haven said today it will be spraying for mosquitoes from 8 p.m. to midnight Wednesday, weather permitting.

Spray areas will consist of a half-mile radius around the 2000 block of Dellwood Drive, concentrating in the Sunnymede subdivision, the community said in a statement.

Other wooded areas also will be sprayed, the statement said. It asked residents to remain indoors while the spray crew is in your area.

New Haven residents who don't want spraying in front of their house are asked to call the utility department at 414-9097 before 4 p.m. Wednesday.
