Blog excerpt: Something that I found that makes life simpler is having measuring cups and keeping them in different bags or boxes of food. We have the 1/4 cup inside of the almond bag so that we can easily scoop it out and there’s the right serving. We also keep the measuring cups in cereal boxes or other foods that come with a serving out of a cup.

Blog excerpt: My favorite workout is swimming. It’s really a great way to burn numerous calories without the sweat and sore muscles. Another great aspect about swimming for exercise is that you don’t even have to be doing laps to burn the calories – you could just be bobbing up and down in the water.

How the week went: I lost a couple pounds this week, and now I get to go on vacation! I am super excited. This week, I also signed up for Fort4Fitness! I can’t wait to compete in the 4 mile walk/run!

How the week went: This week has been going well. I went down two pant sizes and a shirt size. I’m still doing well with my vegan diet, too. I have been hanging out with friends this week, so I haven’t been able to work out as much as other weeks but I’m getting back on track.

How the week went: I went camping this week, and I feel like I kept my weight down successfully. I was active, and made sure that I didn’t eat too much. I was a little tempted with junk food and such, but overall I was victorious! I have lost a little over 10 pounds with the project, and I am extremely satisfied with my progress.
