Victim of US 33 crash identified

A 30-year-old Fort Wayne man died at the scene of a two-vehicle crash in northwest Allen County early today, the county coroner's office has ruled.

Matthew A. Kever died accidentally from blunt force trauma, the coroner's office said in a statement. His death is the 15th traffic fatality in the county this year.

Kever was driving north on U.S. 33 near Hildebrand Road about 3:30 a.m. when a southbound vehicle crossed the center line and collided with his, county police have said.

The crash remains under investigation by county police and the coroner's office.
