2 held in Ligonier pharmacy robbery

Two Cromwell residents have been held in connection with the July 31 robbery of a CVS Pharmacy in Ligonier, Ligonier police and the Noble County prosecutor said today.

Joseph E. Easterday, 23, and Abby Leigh Jackson, 24, are being held at the county jail without bond pending formal charges, police and the prosecutor said in a statement.

The pharmacy was robbed about 2:20 p.m. July 31, the statement said. It said information from local residents and Crime Stoppers led police to focus on Easterday and Jackson.

Ligonier police were assisted by the county sheriff's department and Indiana State Police, the statement said.
