Driver badly hurt in Noble crash

A Fort Wayne man was in critical condition late Saturday after a two-car crash in Noble County.

Allen Daler, 28, of Fort Wayne, was driving a 2004 Chevrolet Monte Carlo east on County Road 200 South when he failed to yield the right of way at Indiana 5, police said. His vehicle was struck by a 2006 Dodge Dakota driven by Gary Soblotne, 69, of LaGrange.

Daler was flown to Parkview Regional Medica Center with a possible head injury. He was in critical condition, hospital staff said.

Soblotne and his passenger, Evelyn Soblotne, were both taken to Parkview by ambulance, police said. Gary Soblotne had a possible broken arm and Evelyn had chest and leg pains, police said.
