Fairfax Avenue section closed for sewer work

Fairfax Avenue has closed between its intersections with Buell Drive and with McClellan Street, the city of Fort Wayne said today.

The closure will allow work on a City Utilities sewer improvement project, the city's Traffic Engineering Department said in a statement.

The work is expected to be completed by Aug. 14, although the intersection of Fairfax and Buell is to reopen Thursday, the statement said.
