Driver badly hurt in Noble crash

A woman was in seri­ous condition Wednesday eve­­ning after she was airlifted from a head-on crash the previous night in Noble County.

About 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jesse Filley, 25, of Albion, was headed east on County Road 100 North when he crossed the center line and his SUV hit an oncoming car, according to the Noble County Sheriff’s Department.

The driver of the car, 20-year-old Allison Heckman, suffered a leg injury severe enough that she was airlifted from the crash, police said.

She was listed in serious condition Wednesday evening, according to Parkview.

Filley suffered a head in­jury in the crash and was taken by ambulance to a local hospital.
