Lottery player buys 2nd $1 million ticket in 3 months

INDIANAPOLIS – An Indianapolis man is celebrating his second $1 million Hoosier Lottery prize in the past three months.

Lottery officials said Robert Hamilton won a $1 million prize from a scratch-off ticket he bought last week at a convenience store on the south side of Indianapolis. He bought his other big winner in April in the Greene County town of Jasonville while traveling to a conference.

The lottery said Hamilton’s tickets are among eight top prizes for its $120 Million Cash Spectacular Scratch-off game.

Hamilton said he used his first prize to pay off debts, buy a home and invest in his business. He now plans to buy a motorcycle.

Lottery officials said the odds of winning a top prize from the scratch-off game are one in 2.1 million.
