Volunteers needed

Reunion set

Awards/recognition

• Miss Indiana Teen USA Zoe Parker of Fort Wayne will compete for the title of Miss Teen USA 2014 on Aug. 2. The competition will stream live at 8 p.m. on www.miss​teenusa.com.

• Paul Barker won Korte Does It All’s spring giveaway and opted for the $300 check, in which he donated to the Shriners organization.

• Allen County high school students Maggie Blackwell, Sophia Lahey and Mackenzie Riley were selected as the 2014-15 Rotary International Exchange Students. Blackwell from Bishop Dwenger will travel to Turkey; Lahey from Carroll High School will travel to Denmark; and Riley from Wayne New Tech Academy will travel to Germany.

Giving back

• The Rotary Club of Fort Wayne and Faegre Baker Daniels installed a Little Free Library at the playground in Lions Park, located at Carew Street and Hazelwood Avenue. The free-standing library is a take a book, return a book concept.

• The Carriage House in Fort Wayne received $23,000 from the 100+ Women Who Care Fort Wayne.
