Reyes goes deep as TinCaps top Wisconsin

The last time Wisconsin played at Parkview Field, on Sept. 16, 2012, the Timber Rattlers clinched the Midwest League Championship Series with a win in Game 4.

The stakes weren’t nearly as high on Saturday, but the TinCaps gained at least a slight measure of revenge with an 8-4 victory before a crowd of 7,570 on a muggy evening.

Jeffery Enloe (3-3) limited Wisconsin to one run in six innings, and Franmil Reyes hit his ninth home run to pull into a four-way tie for the team lead.

The TinCaps (44-59, 14-20 second half) compiled 14 hits, seven of which came in the first two innings.

The Timber Rattlers (54-49, 18-16) trailed 6-1 after four innings in the opener of a three-game series.
