Kentucky rape suspect arrested in Noble

Slone

A man wanted for several sex charges out of Kentucky was in custody Tuesday night in Noble County.

The sheriff’s department put out notice earlier in the day that it sought the public’s help in finding 43-year-old Sylvester R. Slone, 43, and he was in custody by 8 p.m., according to a posting to the department’s Facebook page.

Slone was wanted on a Noble County warrant but also for several felonies out of Knott County, Kentucky

Those charges included six counts of rape in the first degree, 10 counts of sodomy in the first degree and six counts of sexual abuse in the first degree, according to the sheriff’s department.
