2 held in Paulding meth case

Two Paulding, Ohio, men were arrested Saturday after a meth lab was found at a Paulding residence, the county sheriff's office said today.

Jeffrey Holt, 45, and John Mobley, 43, were charged with illegal manufacturing of drugs and illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacturing of drugs, the sheriff's office said in a statement.

The statement said deputies accompanied a probation officer to an address in the 700 block of East Perry Street to check on someone who is on probation.

During a search of the residence, it said, deputies discovered an active meth lab.

Paulding police and Paulding Fire & EMS assisted at the scene.
