JEERS to the city of Fort Wayne and the organizers of the Fourth of July fireworks. My family (wife and four girls) came down to Headwaters Park from Auburn to enjoy the Fort Wayne fireworks as we have every year, but when we arrived we were very disappointed to find not a single restroom facility or porta potty anywhere in Headwaters Park. Due to this poor planning, my family and I may no longer be attending the fireworks.
CHEERS to the entire North Manchester community for helping Manchester University host another spectacular Fourth of July Celebration. Special CHEERS to our firefighters for a grand fireworks display, and the Civic Band, 4th and Walnut Band, veteran Bart Corricelli, MU senior Hannah Schutter, North Manchester Rotarians and the many University employees who united to make Independence Day a memorable community event.
CHEERS to whoever paid our bill on July 4 when my family and I went to Cosmos for my birthday.
CHEERS to the person/people who found and took care of my grandson’s teacup chihuahua. She is special. You helped answer our prayers.
CHEERS to our carrier, Edward Desouza. He faithfully delivers our paper every morning and places it inside our enclosed porches. He delivered our paper every day during our horrible winter.
CHEERS to the Three Rivers parade crowd, which just gets bigger and better each year; to the units that participated; Jack Hammer; the Three Rivers Committee, and to all who work so hard to make it happen. CHEERS to our Fort Wayne Police Department, which puts in the hours to keep us safe; and to all the sponsors. The Korean War Veterans appreciate all of you and your hard work.
