Ritz supporters need to make themselves heard

I am absolutely livid over the new Center for Education and Career Innovation taking away the leadership of our superintendent of education.

In the first place, there should not be another board.

The governor couldn’t stand the fact that Tony Bennett lost the election, so he appointed an agency that is still following the same agenda as Bennett - which the voters of this state did not want.

It’s no wonder that, last year, U.S. education secretary Arne Duncan labeled Indiana’s education leadership “dysfunctional.” It’s because our leader is not allowed to lead.

Where does this board get off transferring any control from Glenda Ritz, who won the election to run our education system? She was not elected to answer to a board that didn’t even exist. She was elected to take care of the mess that Bennett made of our education system in the State of Indiana. I believe it is time for teachers, parents, voters, etc. to stand up to the bullies who are trying to nullify the election results. We have already shown that every vote counts. Now let’s show them how angry we are that they are ignoring all of those votes.
