Suspect accused of sexual assault

A Fort Wayne man was jailed Tuesday after a 15-year-old girl told police he sexually assaulted her.

The investigation into 28-year-old Paris R. Patmon began Sunday when the girl reported to police that Patmon shoved her against a hallway wall at Villa Capri Apartments and touched her against her will.

She said he eventually stopped and that something similar had occurred a couple of weeks earlier when he tried to force her to have sex with him, the report said.

The girl did not report that encounter.

Patmon, of the 1800 block of Fox Point Trail, denied everything when interviewed by police. He was arrested on one felony count of rape or other sexual conduct and was being held in lieu of $10,000 bail for the new charge and on no bond for a probation violation.
