Surveillance photos reveal home burglary

Fort Wayne police hope some surveillance photos will lead to the arrest of three people wanted in a home burglary.

On May 15, a man called police after he confronted the men at a house in the 400 block of Congress Avenue and they ran from him, according to a police report.

The witness told police he saw one man walking between the house and a car in the alley and another in the backyard of the home. When the witness asked what was going on, the man in the yard yelled something through the window of the Congress Avenue home and a third man emerged from one of the home’s windows.

All three then fled in a dark green four-door car.

The home’s owner told police two shotguns, some collector’s coins and other items were missing from the home. Anyone with information about the burglary and theft is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 436-7867.
