Freeman Street lane to close for manhole repairs

The southbound lane of Freeman Street will be closed between Portage Boulevard and Taylor Street next week for manhole repairs, the city of Fort Wayne said today.

The closure begins Monday, and it is expected the lane will reopen Tuesday, the city's Traffic Engineering Department said in a statement.

A detour for southbound traffic will use Portage Boulevard and Taylor Street, the statement said.
