Area man charged in lake home break-ins

A Wolcottville man has been charged this month in two Sylvan Lake home burglaries.

Michael S. Jones, 31, faces two burglary charges, according to a statement issued Tuesday by Noble County Prosecutor Steven Clouse.

It said that Jones is accused of breaking into a residence on Lakeside Drive on Sylvan Lake, near Rome City, on Nov. 13, and another residence on North Shore Drive on June 29.

He was arrested July 1. Both cases are set for a pretrial conference Aug. 28.
