Silver Alert cancelled for a Muncie woman

At 4:15 a.m. Wednesday morning, the Muncie Police Department cancelled the Silver Alert for Nancy A. Turner.


Indiana State Police have issued a statewide Silver Alert for a missing 83-year-old woman from Muncie.

Nancy A. Turner was last seen 11 a.m. Tuesday morning in Muncie, police say, and they believe she may be in danger.

The gray-haired, brown-eyed Turner weighs 120 pounds and is 5 feet 2 inches tall. Turner was last seen wearing a multi-patterned white, black and orange blouse, cream-colored pants and blue tennis shoes. Police say they believe she is driving a silver four-door 2003 Chrysler PT Cruiser with Indiana license plate 324DOM.

According to police, Turner may be disoriented and in need of medical attention.
