Man found in street victim of hit-and-run, police say

The Fort Wayne man found critically injured on a northeast-side street early Monday was the victim of a hit-and-run crash, city police said today.

Conrad S. Symonds, 46, remains in critical condition, police said in a statement.

Police have said they were called to the intersection of Goodfellow and Shannon drives about 5:45 a.m. Monday because of an unconscious man lying in the intersection. Paramedics took him to a local hospital.

Detectives are asking anyone with information about who might be responsible for the crash to call Crime Stoppers at 260-436-STOP.
