Police release pictures from bakery burglary

The Fort Wayne Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a burglary suspect in surveillance photographs.

Someone broke into Courtney’s Bakery, 6505 E. State Blvd., on the night of April 17. The next morning, the manager came in and found a large hole in the wall from a vacant business next door, according to a police report.

It said surveillance video shows a middle-aged man wearing gloves carrying the cash register.

Anyone with information about his identification is encouraged to contact Crime Stoppers at 436-7867.
