Thunderstorms head this way

The National Weather Service in Norman, Oklahoma, has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for several counties in northeast Indiana.

The watch is in effect until 7 p.m. for Huntington, Kosciusko, LaGrange, Noble, Wabash and Whitley counties.

Rain and thunderstorms are predicted for all of northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio through the evening, but severe storms are forecast to stay well west of Interstate 69.

Damaging winds and are large hail are possible.
