Woman found dead in apartment is ID'd

The Allen County Coroner’s Office has identified a woman found dead Saturday morning in a Fort Wayne apartment.

The cause of death for Audrey Louise Knight, 56, is pending, according to a statement issued Monday by the coroner’s office.

About 8 a.m. police were called to Regency House Apartments. Officers and medics arrived to the apartment complex at 2440 Fairfield Ave., which is just south of Creighton Avenue, and found her body inside.
