Plant cucumbers now

Cucumber seeds can be sown now for a second crop in late summer.

Give cucumber plants room to grow, enriched soil and plenty of moisture.

Thin seedlings to 12 inches apart and 4 feet between rows. Trellis-grown vines can be planted more densely for a greater harvest.
