Area NBA Summer League roundup

Six games were played Friday in the NBA Pro Summer League in Orlando, and five in Las Vegas.

Among Mad Ants players and others with area ties were:

Frank Gaines: The former IPFW standout had 14 points, two rebounds and one steal for the Indiana Pacers in a 95-86 win over Boston.

Sadiel Rojas: The Mad Ants player did not play (coach’s decision) for the Pacers.

Victor Oladipo: The former Indiana University star guard had 22 points, five rebounds and four assists in Orlando’s 96-87 win over Detroit.

Tony L. Mitchell: The former Mad Ants standout had four points for the Pistons.

Tim Ohlbrecht: The Mad Ants standout did not play (coach’s decision) for the Pistons.

Peyton Siva: The Mad Ants guard did not play (coach’s decision) for the Pistons.

Chris Watford: The former Indiana University forward did not play (coach’s decision) for the Pistons.

Jamaal Franklin: The former Mad Ants guard scored 11 points, had two rebounds, an assist and a steal for Memphis in the Grizzlies’ 91-74 loss against Philadelphia.

Chris Kramer: The former Huntington North and Purdue star had three rebounds, two assists and two steals for the Rockets in their 101-75 win over Brooklyn.

Mason Plumlee: The Warsaw native did not play for the Brooklyn Nets in their loss against Houston.

JaJuan Johnson: The former Purdue forward had seven points, four rebounds and a steal for Milwaukee in its 70-68 loss against Cleveland.

DeShaun Thomas: The former Bishop Luers forward played in a late game for San Antonio.
