Motorcycle crash kills 23-year-old

– A Fort Wayne man died Thursday from injuries he suffered in an early-morning motorcycle crash.

City police were called about 3 a.m. to the crash in the 8500 block of Coldwater Road and found a man in critical condition.

The rider, later identified as 23-year-old Justin Seyfert, was headed south on Coldwater Road when he missed a curve and crashed, police said.

He was taken in critical condition to a hospital, where he died.

Seyfert was thrown from the motorcycle as it went off the west side of the road. There were no other vehicles involved or objects in the road, and police believe speed was a factor.

His death was the 10th traffic fatality in Allen County.
