Verbatim: Meth lab found in St. Marys Avenue apartment

A statement received Friday morning:

On the 10th of July 2014, The Fort Wayne Police Department Meth Suppression Unit closed a lengthy investigation of the production and use of Methamphetamine at 1036 ½ St. Marys Avenue in the North West quadrant of Fort Wayne.

Found in the upstairs apartment inhabited by Mason Arnold was Methamphetamine, an active one pot lab and paraphernalia for smoking Meth. The occupant of the residence was Mason Arnold is a male white 60 years old. Mr. Arnold was subsequently charged with:

Possession of Methamphetamine Level 6

Possession of Meth Precursors Level 6

Maintaining a common Nuisance Level 6

Manufacturing Methamphetamine Level 2

The Allen County Board of Health responded and will test the apartment for contamination. This is the 28th Methamphetamine Lab found in Allen County in 2014. Mr. Arnold’s bond is set at $50,000.
