Police find dead man in car

Fort Wayne police are investigating a suspicious death after a man was found dead in a car Wednesday evening.

About 6:30 p.m. police were called to a parking lot in the 2200 block of Edsall Avenue after someone said there was a man possibly dead in his car and he didn’t know the person, said Chris Felton, spokesman for the police department.

Felton said the man in the car was dead when police arrived.

The man’s age and how long he was in the car were not known.

Felton said a cause of death could not be released yet but police are treating the case as a suspicious.

The Allen County Coroner’s Office will issue a cause of death and identification of the man.
