Thunderstorms head this way

Scattered thunderstorms are moving into northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio, the National Weather Service in northern Indiana says.

There is a slight risk of some of them becoming severe this afternoon, the weather service said, especially along and south of U.S. 24. Large hail and damaging winds are possible.

The chance of thunderstorms will increase again late Monday, but the weather service said none of them are expected to become severe.

Storms with heavy rain are likely Tuesday.
