None hurt as home ruined by blaze

Fire caused extensive damage Saturday night to a Fort Wayne home.

About 8:47 p.m., firefighters were called to 5318 Standish Drive and found everyone had evacuated.

Firefighters had the blaze under control at 9 p.m., the fire department said.

Firefighters found heavy flames in the downstairs front living room. The blaze caused moderate fire damage, and heavy water and smoke damage, the department said.
