Niki Daining and her 10-month old son, Teddy, watch as Tengku, an orangutan, scoops peanut butter out of a jar with his fingers during Tengku’s 28th birthday celebration Thursday at the Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo. Tengku came to the Fort Wayne in 1994. In the habitat, he and the female orangutans found several boxes wrapped with paper that had a combination of birthday flour paste and sweet tea mix. Inside the boxes were jars of peanut butter and other food and play items.
