7th Indiana tornado confirmed from Tuesday storms

GRAVELTON, Ind. – The National Weather Service has confirmed another tornado touched down in northern Indiana earlier this week, bringing the number to seven.

The weather service said the latest confirmed tornado touched down Tuesday in the Kosciusko County town of Gravelton. The weather service says it was an EF-1 tornado on the ground for two minutes and traveled a little more than a half mile, damaging a barn and knocking down or snapping about 20 trees, one into a home.

Other tornadoes touched down near LaGrange in LaGrange County, near Milford in Kosciusko County, near Silver Lake but in Wabash County, near South Whitley in Whitley County and two near

Plymouth in Marshall County.
