Severe thunderstorm watch issued

A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for Kosciusko and other northern Indiana counties.

The National Weather Service in northern Indiana said the watch in effect until 10 p.m. Monday. Other counties in the watch include St. Joseph, Elkhart and LaPorte.

Fort Wayne and the rest of northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio are likely to see storms through the night. The weather service said some after 1 a.m. could become severe.
