World Cup match to be on Parkview Field video board

Statement as issued Monday by the city and TinCaps:

Fort Wayne, Ind. – The Fort Wayne TinCaps and the City of Fort Wayne today announced they have partnered to provide the public the opportunity to watch tomorrow’s World Cup soccer match between the United States and Belgium on the video board at Parkview Field.

The match begins at 4 p.m. Admission is free and concessions will be available for purchase.

“We want to thank the Fort Wayne TinCaps for being a great community partner,” said Mayor Tom Henry. “This is a great opportunity for our City to come together and support the United States team and the tremendous accomplishments of Fort Wayne native DaMarcus Beasley.”
