Bonus antlerless deer quotas reduced in 19 counties

DeKalb, Huntington, Wells on statewide list

Bonus antlerless deer quotas have been reduced in 19 Indiana counties, including DeKalb, Huntington and Wells, the Department of Natural Resources said today.

Quotas were increased in four counties, all in the south-central part of the state, the DNR said in a statement.

As a result of the changes, 63 counties will be included in the late antlerless deer season, six fewer than in 2013, the statement said.

It said the season, which begins Dec. 26, will include Allen, DeKalb, Kosciusko, LaGrange, Noble and Steuben counties this year.
