Covington Road section to be restricted for month

A section of Covington Road will be restricted for a month beginning Monday while a sanitary sewer force main is installed, the city of Fort Wayne said today.

The restrictions between Eggeman Road and Braemar Drive begin Monday and are to end by Aug. 1, the city's traffic engineering department said in a statement.

A detour will use Scott, Bass and West County Line roads, the statement said. It said traffic will be maintained for one lane using flaggers between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. weekdays, and is to be opened to two lanes during non-working hours.
