The offers are piling up for Bishop Luers junior wide receiver Austin Mack.
Mack revealed Tuesday on Twitter that he’d been extended an offer by Notre Dame, the same day he attended a one-day camp in South Bend. He’d been originally scheduled to participate in the Irish Invasion camp over the weekend but had to postpone.
“I couldn’t make it to that one, so I had to make up for it,” Mack said Tuesday evening. “They were already showing me a lot of interest, so basically I just had to come in and earn it. That’s what I did.”
It’s the third major program that has extended an offer to Mack, who still has two years of high school yet to go. In the last week, he’s also been offered by Ohio State and Michigan.
Mack caught 58 passes for 816 yards last fall for the Knights, who were winless in the regular season but won two games in the playoffs to reach the sectional finals and finish 2-10.
