KELLEYS ISLAND, Ohio – A U.S. Coast Guard crew has rescued three men from a sinking boat near Ohio’s Lake Erie islands.

The Coast Guard said one of the boaters was able to call 911 after waves swamped the boat Wednesday morning.

All three men were in the water when the rescue boat arrived. They were wearing life jackets and didn’t suffer any injuries.
