Taking the train to Toledo

Chad Ryan | The Journal Gazette
A crew member boards the Fort Wayne Railroad Historical Society’s steam locomotive No. 765 as it sits at a switch site outside New Haven, waiting for clearance to roll onto the Norfolk and Southern tracks for a trip to Amtrak’s Union Station in Toledo. The engine will lay over at the station, where the locomotive and its passenger cars will be open to the public and available for visits and photos. The historic 765 will take passengers on roundtrip excursions between Detroit and Fort Wayne on July 12 and 13.
