Gunman strikes bank in Harlan

Around 9 a.m. Monday, Allen County Sheriff’s Department officers responded to an alarm at the iAB Financial Bank in Harlan.

According to a statement from the sheriff’s department, a thin, white man age 20 to 35 and about 5-foot-7, had entered the bank wearing a black mask and carrying a black handgun and demanded money.

After obtaining an unknown amount of cash, the man got into a white two-door car driven by another man.

The two then drove toward Spencerville, according to the release.
