Work begins on North Washington Road, Randal Road

Beginning today, there will be closures of North Washington Road and Randal Road where they meet at Taylor Street.

The Fort Wayne Traffic Engineering Department announced Tuesday that storm drains will be installed on the south side of the intersection.

The roads will be opened by Friday, the department said.

A marked detour for local traffic will use Covington Road, Ardmore Avenue and Taylor Street.
