Emergency repairs hit Jefferson downtown

Statement as issued Tuesday by the Fort Wayne Traffic Engineering Department:

Please be advised the two north lanes on West Jefferson Blvd., for eastbound traffic, from Webster Street to Calhoun St. in front of the Wayne Center will be closed.

The lane closure is effective Tuesday, June 17, 2014 and will remain closed till 3:00 p.m. today.

The lane closures will allow WPCM to complete emergency repairs to the manhole located in the traffic lanes.

WPCM will be responsible for placement and maintenance of all warning signs and barricades.
